“WE LOVE THE MUSIC AS MUCH AS YOU”

EYE DAWG Productions is the brainchild of Mike "Mod" Modarelli and Thomas “TDawg” Helland. What started as a collaboration on a special concert, The Keel Family Holiday Show, at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, GA in December of 2008 has evolved into a special event company that is all about producing the intimate, unique and interactive festival/concert experience for both the musician and the patron, utilizing all forms of media to reach out to its audience.

With over 30 years of combined prior production experience, strong contacts within the industry, and only 14 months into existence, EYE DAWG has already produced some exciting festivals that are sure to be around for years to come, including the Keel Family Function and Cherokee Farms Fiddlers Convention (to be renamed Cherokee Farms FiddleFest) at beautiful Cherokee Farms in LaFayette, GA.  EYE DAWG has also been active on the Gulf Coast with Swamp Meat 3 and The Fourth Coming, in the relaxing Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL area.

We were also proud to introduce EYE DAWG to the folks of coastal Savannah Georgia area by bringing the inaugural Tybee Island Americana Music Festival their way. We ended our 2009 festival season with the event that started it all (on the EYE front) BARNBURNER!  BarnBurner13 was heated up all over the place, with simultaneous sites across the nation.

All EYE DAWG events have been praised by our patrons, vendors and sponsors alike.  We contribute our success to our concern for reputation and understanding what makes our event goers enjoy themselves.

Mr. Helland was the founder of nationally recognized Blue Ridge Harvest Fest and has also produced free community events in downtown Decatur, GA, the renowned Tree Sound Studios, as well as at venues of all sizes in the Atlanta area.

Mr. Modarelli has been an active presence in music, sports and fund raising productions on the Gulf Coast for over 10 years now and has also produced concerts in Las Vegas Nevada, all over Montana, Northern California and the coastal Oregon area since 1996.  Understanding through experience is a major part of what we do

In the fall of 2009, EYE DAWG launched its FRESH & LOCAL program in TUSCALOOSA, AL. EYE DAWG continues its pledge to serve the Tuscaloosa community with information and participation on our Tuscaloosa FRESH & LOCAL event program, with events and information that include our sponsors and FRESH & LOCAL partners having a major presence at all events.

We continue to focus on ways to produce events that work together with emphasis on community. FRESH & LOCAL aims to bring local music, arts and foods together with local businesses to shed light and celebrate green and healthy living. EYE DAWG will begin the program in MOBILE in the Spring of 2010. The program is planned to seek out other community’s that want to participate.
